Darkened sorrows bleed out through trees
Creep through tunnels of evergreen
burry their lies beneath the truth
Hurting in these depths, the envy or life
cradling feelings of the unknown
carving in the soul of a pumping heart
eating away everything there is left
pulling and tugging life of the aspiring
crashing hard and stumbling below
falling for regrets and constant reminders
mistakes for the adventurous,
hating for the continual
blooming in hopes of readjustment

turn that table
take away that pain

Breaking clouds open skies
shining through love and hope, light and sun
eyes ponder open in faith
crazy love, crazy determination
bubble up, break that ice, become that
failing to listen, failing to yield
harm lies within those who seem to steel
