Falling Rain

f everything were to shatter to a million pieces...

you were the one whom i’d turn to

if every star in the sky lost all of their sparkle..

you were the one whom i’d turn to

everyday of sunlight, every ounce of sky, filled our love of friendship with light to guid us through darkened paths...

specialness is a reliable sour of my thoughts for you

one day the deepened blue of the sky turned to darkened grey of evil

every filled cloud began to sprinkle, ever sprinkle hitting the ground with a softened splatter...

till every overfilled cloud burst with pouring storms of water, hitting the ground with claiming anger of disappointment and roaring thunder

and you were not there for me to turn to

in the depth of darkness of the roaring thunder and darkened sky of overfilled clouds...

not knowingly you were behind me, and out of the darkened depth, did i feel the blinding pain straight through my heart

as blood ran out and down, pain so severe..

you were not there, because you were the accomplice of my recent pain and suffering

there i lay, heart of love...

shattered to a thousand pieces...

waters flowing of red, of hurt, and blood, as you stand there, eyes of glowing green.

if everything shattered to a million pieces

i would turn to those who are true at heart, always there in my time of need and darkness

if every star lost every ounce of sparkle

i would turn to those who have my back, instead of stabbing me

if every sky lost it’s sunlight...

I would find a true friends smile and confort to brighten the path to safety
